BCM212 – Update

Procrastination is the process of delaying an action. The aim of my project is to explore the solutions students and institutions have developed to
control procrastination and create time-management skills.

To do this I am planning on taking on two main research methods: surveys and small focus groups. One potential problem will be bias in the survey results. As observed by Kyung Ryung & Eun Hee (2015, p.31), when asked how much they procrastinated, students tended to over exaggerate.

This week I’ve developed beginning survey questions and will share them on twitter to the UOW BCM212 cohort. However, I will have to see from initial reactions (if there are any) whether I will need to adjust my questions. It will be a trial and error sort of process.
